The Adventure continues - Hanging out with Jan and Bruce

This adventure started with a text:

"We're at Estrella. Come have lunch with us."

So I went.

Jan & Bruce had already ordered the special, grilled mahi mahi tacos with a side salad. I quickly ordered the same thing. I'm supposed to be eating healthier, according to my trainer, and I try to incorporate that into most of my meals. I do love it when a restaurant makes that easy... and superbly delicious. I wish now that I'd taken a photo of my plate, mostly to torture y'all.

We finished eating and before food coma could ensnare us, we walked around the corner to one of my favorite little Wineries, Chatteau Lettau. Their Tannat won a double gold at San Francisco and is one of my favorites to just drink. I know scandalous, since I'm usually all about the food and wine together for my pleasure, but I do like just drinking this ruby beauty.

So we go and have a little bit of delectable goodness.

Then THIS happened:

While there we got to meet a Publisher of a small press who just printed this book.

George Takai wrote the introduction (which is beautiful) and this book is a must for many reasons. History being one of them.
